Our Organisation

 

Given the history of our country informed by three hundred & fifty years of colonialism and apartheid, which resulted in a protracted struggle for non-racial, non-sexist, democratic and prosperous, led by Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, South African peoples and other liberation movements culminating into the negotiated historic democratic breakthrough in 1994. The government continues to deliver basic services to the majority of our people and driving social and economic transformation. However, twenty one years into our young democracy our society remains characterised by elements of  social injustice, unequal distribution of resources, marginalised black communities, unemployment and social pathologies that continue to threaten the capacity of full human potential and process of development.

Make It Happen Foundation (MIHAFO Reg no: 2015/420457/08) is a product of experience acquired from hard work in the labour sector and the community inspired by very experienced people who are working in various private companies, government departments and parastatals but wish to pursue business opportunities in the improvement of labour force and communities for the development of society.

Make It Happen Foundation (MIHAFO) firmly commits to strive for and contribute to a unified South Africa, Africa and world that is free of oppression and exploitation. We believe that this can only be achieved by harnessing collective efforts under leadership of a united communities or persons

This organisation is inspired by the slogan of universal working class solidarity: an injury to one is an injury to all and empowering workers and communities to become their own liberators. Together, we can realise a world without crime, poverty and disease but build one with peace and stability brought about the enormous wealth and sustainable economy of the country
